MX700 or MX510?

The MX700 is cordless, but I don't think that cords really bother me that much. The MX510 looks cooler and has a slightly better optical engine. Both about the same price. What you think?

If you are getting a new mouse this year, follow what eG0 said and go for the MX1000. It's point tracking system is superior to even the MX510.

Yeah the MX1000 seems pretty sweet. But thats an awefully big price tag for a mouse.

I like the feel/weight of the 700, but if you dont, the 510 is a better mouse.

I prefer the wireless. And frankly I dont think I would notice the difference between the 700 and 510.

Not to mention I bought my mx700 when it first came out,,,which was about $70-80 I think

I have the MX510 and love it.I almost went with the MX700 but I just cant go with a cordless for some reason.Maybe it's because every cordless mouse I have used just doesnt feel as "quick" as a corded mouse.Granted I have never used a MX700.

I have the 700 and love it - I do like the look of the 510 better though...been thinking if the top shell will swap with my 700 since that part is starting to look a little faded, that's the only thing I don't like about silver coating (and the buttons are rubbing off).
