Do you get an error message when it reboots or does it reboot without warning?

If you get a 30 second countdown it's the MSBlast virus. You need to enable your firewall, download the patch and the removal tool. Any unpatched system without a firewall or router will be infected by MSBlast 10 minutes after getting an internet connection.

If you get no warning then it's possible it's an IRQ channel sharing issue. Pretty rare nowadays with modern mobos but they still happen. Info and a fix here: http://soldcentralfl.com/quakecoop/glfaq5.htm#5_9

Has anything changed recently? Added any new hardware?

Random reboots can also be caused by overheating, bad RAM or a bad PSU.

What's the message? You shouldn't get a countdown on shutdown.
