"Screw you commie?"

C'mon, your vestigial brain can do better than that. Drop the sov an email, maybe he can help you out.

Don't worry about me after Bush wins. The Republican appointees I work for now have been much more fun to work for than anybody Clinton put in. It will be really bad for the country but good for me...

i always think its funny when rammstein trys to make political statements with their music. consider that lyrically Till couldnt write his way out of a paper bag.

i think the song and video are funny as hell, as well as the album over for the single.

ive been a fan of rammstein since herzeleid was release :D

That's what darkheart usually posts here. Any and all things to put us (Americans) down. He's done it since 6-7 years ago in the old agn days. He even openly campaigned to be an agn mod back then.
George Bush himself has the IQ of a house plant.

Actually, that's what I've always thought of your comments and thoughts regarding America. Typical. Stay gone then come back only to post more of your usual.

Anything to say about YOUR country? Oh let me guess, yours is superior. Frankly, ours is none of your beezwax. I say that <b>ONLY</b> because when you have talked about us, it's <b>ALWAYS</b> been demeaning and negative. No matter who was prez.

Perhaps you were not aware of that fact Lmandrake. If it matters anyway.

<i>"As for this forum, the prevailing view is pro-Bush and nobody else bothers to post."</i>
It's funny. At anands the opposite prevails.

Opposing views have not been stopped here. ;)

If it matters Blade - I don't recall this guy posting before.

And, if it matters, I didn't suggest there was censorship here.

Obviously most here are republican? One who's not is NOT a "commie" or "anti-american", just one who has another OPINION. The fact that the polls are close to a 50/50 split means that obviously many aren't overjoyed with Bush thus have similar opinions.

Even though Darkheart isn't an American, he didn't post anything here (above) that hasn't already been said or observed by other Americans.

Name calling and/or insults for those with different opinions on who should be president? Please!

Hay, Im not a bush fan. im just an anti kerry fan.
I'm not a Kerry fan, I'm just anti-Bush." :P

Seriously, I hear they've finally set a tentative schedule for debates. I'm looking forward to them, I just hope they're real debates and not pre-screened questions (they did a lot of that last presidential election which I think is cheating the voters).

I want to see the candidates think on their feet. Be interesting to see if Bush has gotten any better at it - he really never was very good at speaking off the cuff. I'm also curious to see if Kerry can - other than some talk show chit-chat, we haven't seen him have to think on his feet yet.

So many of our politicians now are nothing but talking heads reading speeches written by professional speech writers. You have no idea how much input they had in the process.

Blade I don't know why you think I'm so anti-american. Between here and AGN I must have posted about 4 or 5 politicalish threads out of probably 1200 over more than 5 years. 3 of those where objecting to the invasion of Afghanistan and of the blatent cheering (in this forum) of pictures of Afghanistan people being blown to bits by stinger missles, which I thought was disgusting. Until then I don't remember you being antagnostic towards me at all.

"He even openly campaigned to be an agn mod back then."

This just ain't true, and I bet nobody else can recall that either, I've never been interested in being a mod of any forum IMHO it's a lot more of a chore than a privilage. I've definatly not been interested enough in being a mod to "campaign" to be one. I do remember you e-mailed me about caretaking some guys forum or website a long time ago but nothing ever came of it I think the guy found someone to do it on his own or something.

"Opposing views have not been stopped here. " You've deleted a few of my topics/responses before and edited my posts, your forum so you can but it's annoying to occasionaly be misrepresented.

Of course it matters to the rest of the world who is in the White House, what the US chooses to do with it's enermous power is a concern to everyone.

It is very true that I come MUCH less, that's mostly because my interests have shifted. A LONG time ago AGN was a good review site with a vibrant forum when AGN closed it's forums some of us came here some went back to the AGN forums when they reopened (which have since disbanded). These days I frequent forums that are more open to discussion and don't have such a right wing viewpoint and that are interested in different things. Mostly Programming & Modelling (which I started to get into 6 years ago so, some of you may remember my early animations) but also Professional IT forums and few Open Political Discussions.

For the record I'm not anti-american I LIKE almost all the americans I meet they are generally more accessable people and generally more friendly. I DO dislike corporate america, and the unrestricted free market, I think it's leading you on it's own agenda rather than working to yours. I think the US CAN be too insular and ignore the viewpoint of anyone else, particularly people outside the US and this is evident in US foreign policy, where they simply ignore the things they find inconvient. I have always tried, in a constructive way, to provide an alternate point of view. In recent times the reaction to any alternate view has been extremely hostile to the point pointlessness which is another reason why I am so often absent. I only attempt this again because I think that another 4 years on the present course could be a real tragedy and make reelecting Nixon look like the work of genius.

I notice that the ONLY point anyone has attacked is the "House Plant" gag and none of the factual content.

Whether you believe it or not I really do care, which is the only reason why I bother to post at all, apathy, simply staying away would be the easiest course and one that is visible in most of our political systems as people become despondent about their ability to make a difference. I think it still is possible to make a difference even if a very tiny one, hence I spent the time writing this which may well be erased almost immeadiatly.

kerry is an anti-evironmental nutcase
at least bush paid out for alternative energy research
kerry voted against nearly all the environmental bills he got infront of him
including ones to add more ethanol to car fuel

I'me netither. I always vote for who I believe it best for our country. I never understood the need to having seperate political parties because the die-hards on both sides follow along like sheep, regardless if they disagree. "Must beat the other party no matter what"
Blade I don't know why you think I'm so anti-american

As I said, anytime anything came up regarding our country, you'd bash anything we did. Always making out that your country is so much better. "We just can't do anything right" to suit darkheart. You've made it a point to do that many times. Then whining about some of our movies how they are "so wrong" in portraying brits.
This just ain't true, and I bet nobody else can recall that either

Well, either you've become a liar, or you are senile. You really don't remember that thread where you and evil started where you both wanted to be mods at agn? :; I remember it very clearly. You kept pushing in the thread to be one, but it was all ignored. This was before there ware no mods on agn.

When I emailed you it was for an brit site that asked me if I knew any brits who may make a good mod, because he was going away to help us with the war on terror. Knowing you are all brit, I suggested you to him. But, later he said he found one.
For the record I'm not anti-american I LIKE almost all the americans

In every thread where you commented about our country, it was alway demeaning and negative, as it is yet again now. That's a fact. So that comment from you is false. At least your comments always seem to make it appear that way. You've always came across like you are jealous of our country. And wanting England to be the most powerful again. Perhaps so they can try and force colonize us again, and others.
I notice that the ONLY point anyone has attacked is the "House Plant" gag and none of the factual content.

Like I said, because of your past bashings anything here is none of your business. I feel you haven't earned that right.

In other words it all comes down to 'credibility'. Which you lack because of your past bashings. That proves you cannot be 'fair and balanced' regarding America.

If it matters Blade - I don't recall this guy posting before.

It does. :) He hasn't been around much the past couple or so years. He got upset about braveheart and its depiction of england. Among other related discussions.

Darkheart: you forgot to blame Bush for that bullcrap assault weapons ban that expired. :p

I certainly recall that thread about you two gentlemen wanting to be mod.

-----------------
On a more humorous note some koolaid drinking lefties out there have claimed the Bush administration is seeding clouds to make more hurricanes as to disrupt the political campaign season. Oh well at least Texas Democrat Sheila Jackson-Lee isn't shouting racial disrimination about the hurricanes names this year.
