I'm not sure whats wrong. Windows install disc sees it as 32gig, the other software i've got sees it as a 32gig drive.
The WD software and bios see it as a 250gig drive.
I tried to fdisk/mbr, I didn't know if this would work or not, partition magic and several freeware programs with no luck turning it back to a 250gig drive.
It happened after several failed attemps of gentoo. suse and gentoo see it as a 32gig drive also.
Any idea on what I could try?

the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

after messing with this thing ,off and on, for about a week. I found I had to make it the master drive and get an older version of the data lifeguard than came with the drive.
