VPN & WIndows

Post by DaMaN »

I am VPN'ing into work to use Outlook for my email and such. Unfortunately when I do I get kicked when I am idle fairly quickly. I looked into the Properties tab and see "redialing options" with a sub menu for Time between redial attempts as well aas a option to select Idle time between hanging up. Are these options for dial up only (I am on cable) or do they apply for always on connections?

Dialup only.

There's nothing on your end that would boot you off so it's probably an idle time-out the administrator setup at work. You might want to ask him about it.
