hmm.. lets see.. i started here right after the first PCAlan i went to... and at that time i think i had a 850 t bird runnin 900 with 512 and a... hmm... either a voodoo 3 or my old mx440. i know i had 2 monitors so it could have been either. now i have a 2500 @ 3200 and 1gig of ram and a 9600??? (i dont know what kind of 9600 nor do i really care).
Edit:
And im still using the same 2 monitors i had back when i had a 233mmx. and i ran dual monitors way the hell back then too!

Edit 2:

I think I started visiting the 3 Finger's 3dfx forum when I had my Compaq P-150.

Later I had GamePC build me a new system with a Celeron 400, 128 MB RAM and a Hercules TNT card which I later upgraded to a GeForce 1 DDR. I later had this system upgraded with a Celeron 533A which I overclocked to 800 MHz.

Two years ago, I built a system with P4 1.6A which I overclocked to 2.2 GHz. It had 256 MB RAM and a GeForce 4 Ti4400.

Last year, anticipating that Doom 3 would be out in the Summer, I build another system with a P4 2.4C which I overclock to 3.0 GHz. I has 512 MB PC3200 RAM and I'm still using the same GeForce 4 Ti4400.

The system plays Doom 3 just fine at 800x 600 and Medium quality.

I first hit AGN with a Packard Bell P75 with 8 megs of EDO ram. It cost me $3000.00 at the time.
