A request for monetary assistance (I need a small loan)

I've emailed him yesterday and have yet to hear back.

See, this is why we usually do not allow things like this. But since he was a good member here, it was allowed.

Anyone he still owes, please pm me the amount and any pertinent info.

Jeremy, where are you? I hope all is well.

But please don't forget those who helped you in your time of need. We need to hear from you and how you're doing.

When no one hears anything for a while, somethimes they asssume the worst.

Honestly, i believe this comment was uncalled for.
I believe Judg3 still hasnt forgotten this, but maybe some other real life situations came up. And your making it sound like he took the money and ran. If you were around here for a little longer, then maybe you couldve gotten away with that, but because you are still new i dont think you have any right insinuating that on a member who has been around as long as he has.

I have sent him some money for this...and i have faith he will pay me back when he is able to.

I didn't send any money. I was busy working on buying my own home. If it wasn't for that, I would have.

I agree with Talent. Things happen. For an example:

I owed Cryo some cash. Well, we had a storm and it took out my Vid card and Mobo. Where I worked, we had no access to internet. I had just moved to this town and knew no one. I could have called a friend that used to visit here but I hate to bother people with my own problems. So, the troll hunter Blade is, got my friend to call me and see what was up. But I really didn't think time had passed to where people would have to question me as a troll.

My friend told Blade the situation and Blade relayed the info here. But when I got back to the forums, there were quite a few accusations. I could name a few but I don't wanna bring up bad memories or call names.

Anyway, I got Cryo the cash and the pc was fixed

i didnt mean it the way it sounds -i was just really wondering how he was doing and seeing if he was around and if anyone had heard anything from him or get him to post if he is able to .
hell i dont even think he ever did collect the funds i tryed to pay pal him !

WTF you talking about? I was not, am not, nor will I insinuate that he did rip you off. I wished that he was doing well at his job and that you would all get your money back, if you haven't already.

I work at a truck stop where we constantly get people asking for money or handouts, and since I am a bleeding heart, I get constantly taken advantage of because of it. Especially since you never know who really needs it and who doesn't it hard to pick and choose, you just give what you can.

I can also understand his situation. I've been there and have had no one to turn to. I attended my last semester in College back when, living in my car because I didn't have any money for housing.

So in ending, I, Sir, feel your comment was unwarranted.

people interpret posts in different ways. Im sorry if thats not what you ment, but when I read your post, it sounded like your saying he screwed us, so of course I got defensive about it.

but there is a difference between a truckstop and a friendly forum when it comes to people asking for a slight helping hand.

Thanks, and your right. A person on a forum and a person in RL are different.

I once had a friend give a guy in Indianpolis 10 bucks. While he was doing so, the guy handed the 10 back and asked for the 20 that he seen in the wallet while my friend was getting the 10 out. The nerve.....
