Taking the wheely bin out and slipped down the stairs on some black ice with the bin on top of me. So no Q3 , UT, or Shenmue on the DC for a while for me. I am going to a solicitor cos apparently there has been a leak down that part of the stairs for over 20 years, and the Landlord has only ever bodged up the leak in the past.

first time i broke anything as well as some of my wrist bones were crushed, hopefully i wont need a operation but will find that out tomorrow.

what can i do with the PC and DC now i am out of action?

That sux. Hope it heals quickly. :)

If you can't play games then it looks like you're stuck surfin' the net or watching movies. Or you could sponsor a bikini contest every day.

Koo Koo. A wheely bin are big out side bins that take around 7 or so bin liners. cos they hold alot of rubbish they put wheels on them. It was full and so when i flew down the steps the bin followed.

I wish i had adsl for the net browsing but i suppose my 56k will do the job, well on most sites.

thanx for your support, and giggles.

ouch, sorry to hear about that. btw, is rubbish=garbage? hehe, no one here talks like that, colloquialisms, hehe.

anyways, my friend broke his right wrist and left elbow last week trying to impress a girl. He found a 8 foot basketball hoop, dunked a volleyball and promptly fractured his right wrist on the rim of the hoop, his hand got tangled in the net and he fell on his left elbow which also broke. The girl doesn't even like him that much...

well i went to hospital the day after waited 1 1/2 hrs. finally a doc saw me for 30 secs and told me to come back in a week??. wtf. so nothing was examined other than the e-ray the day before. I suppose in a week they will acctually examin it this time , but knowing the british NHS who knows.

At least today the pain started to settle a bit and not as much swelling either. looks like it is on the mend.

cheers guys

Haha, Chris, the same thing always happen to me... when I was sick, I have to wait at the doctor's for 2 hrs, then he just look at me for 30seconds, tell me to drink more water, and that's it! That's why I don't go to the doctor anymore when I am sick... I just drink water... :)
