hey me and my parents are goin to hongkong soon and i wanted them to buy me some computer parts. but i wasnt sure if it would work here (usa) cuzi know the power is 220v and 110 over in the US so my question is:

would it work here in the US?
do u think its a good idea to buy it over there?

As long as it's not a PSU it would work.. Because the PSU reduces 110/220=12V.... I believe.. :)

Hmm.. most PSU's have a switch.. so i'm guessing the 220 is for other countrys :D but if you bought a PSU in Hong Kong couldn't ya just flick the switch?

But I've got no idea what you'd want to get in Hong Kong that you couldn't get here? it must be cheaper over there for some items? :D
