here they are! GO-7 LAN party pics!

Well we got there around 8PM and there weren't many people set up yet for the first night but by the second night we had a good amount!


As soon as I got there I changed into my newly created PCA LAN going shirt I quickly made one on Friday with some pics I picked out specifically for this very shirt.

I have the PCA logo on my chest (left side) and on my back a larger version with my PCA Sig pic underneath. Then I did up my arms with some flare

I took 2 pics of the GYM of the college and pasted em together, the center of the 2 pics is basically the gap between one side of the room and the other


My buddies Aaron and Karchiveur(who you all know) this is the spot where we set up our rigs and began the long installs of MANY games... BF 1942... BF Vietnam.. UT2k4 and Counter Strike 1.6 LAN edition, if there was something you were missing it was no problem to borrow it from somebody who did due to the gigabit connection



Later on in the 2nd day we organized a crack team of 5 guys who had at MOST played CS once... myself NEVER have played, yes that's right NEVER (due to dial up restrictions ) So we at least won a few matches... nothing to advance us in the tourney. Into the evening on of the guys who we played against was setting up his Screen Saver and I snapped this pic


at around 3 or 4 am on sat night of the 3 day stint Karchiveur was wanting to stay up and play something... orwhatever I don't remember I was half asleep So I had a Bawls or 2 while he pounded em back like candy. Note the large collection of bottles to our far right near his rig...


So with the journey of no sleep and much gaming complete I can't wait for the next one to come along!! there were at most 70 people there this time around which was apparently VERY low, nearly 200 last year.. So maybe the next one will be bigger. Either way it was a BLAST and I hope I can make it down for PCA LAN one of these times... that'd be MOST awesome So there ya have it! First "real" LAN pics for ya'll!

HaHa.. I'm suffering from Bawls Neglect

But yeah that was an awesome Lan, The guy to the right of me... he was our game supplier, I'm betting he gave us half the games we played. :
We got a bunch of free stuff.. from glowing discs(which would be bombed into the air and usualy would hit unexpecting people) CD's and decals..to Free Bawls,Pizza and tech help .
And Barrett I think if you woulda drank some more balws ya woulda got more Mp3's and files.

Anime and Chris Rock Comedies were playing all night!, Constant 24 hour servers/gaming, Xbox,ps2,GC were also (each) on prejection screens. Arcade and pool hall, Foutons.

And CS was merely a gaming staple to be played I guess, just as much as Starcraft was played as well
but meh fun all the same
