go here to sign a petition to raise the upload cap of 128k on your service! If enough people sign we might actually realize upload speeds that are usable!

I upload at about 900k! :) BUT I only download at about 75kb/sec. BOOOOO They forgot to cap the upload around here so everythings all messed up. But should be fixed in about a week. Too bad that I can't get 2-300kb/sec down and still my 900k up!

My Cogeco@home upload is around 40kbs (recently raised from 12kbs), not as good as my downloads of up to 300kbs, but not bad...

Maybe you should tweak?

Post by Hyudra »

Just FYI,
It HELPS a lot if you tweak your broadband. Check out http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and test the tweaks and speed check.
also
http://msn.zdnet.com/partners/msn/bandw ... edtest.htm is a nice speed tester.

Like my relative installed the tweak and got over 4800 Kbps over msn, which is odd. All I get is about 1000-1400 Kbps :(

Mine is tweaked.. that doesn't do squat for the upload since its CAPPED at 128k (16k/s). My download I average any where between 3Mb and 8Mb after the registry tweaks from speedguide.net
