its one of the best Adventure, fantasy, drama series. I dont watch everymovie that everyone else says is great cause I have no intreast in them. Pearl Harbor and Titanic come to mind.

Never could get into them. Visually they are stunning, and I did enjoy the end of the Two Towers. The first was alright. Didn't think much of the third. They are the types of movies I'll only see once a year at most.

I've seen all three, and I really enjoy them all. I have the 2nd one on DVD and will be getting the first soon.. I guess you just have to be into the "genre" so to speak. eGo

Have first and second extended editions. Saw the second and third in theaters. I'm a fan of the movies and of the books.

I didn't see the first until last summer. the genre was never my thing but caught the end of the first one on hbo or something one night and got into it. I have the extended sets for FOTR and Two Towers. would like to see the 3rd before it leaves the theatre but not sure if i'll make it or not.

I am a big fan of the books and throughly enjoyed all three movies. Hopefully, they will release a "directors cut" of the trilogy this coming summer. The icing on the cake would be for Jackson to film "The Hobbit".
