me

they do have lens cleaners. but some people say that can knock the lens out of line.

Good quality lens cleaner won't harm the drive. They're just soft brushes on the disc - never had a problem.

Sometimes it fixes the problem, sometimes it doesn't. Laser emitters wear out over time.

I just take them apart, give a good canned air, a little bit of cleaner on the lens, put them back togther, and hope that I dont have any screws left over when im done :P
