which casing is this?

Post by beelzebub »

I was planning on buying a new casing for my PC. What really matters to me is space. Noise is not an issue as I have liquid cooling. I met someone online on DC + + once who built a really tricked-out pc for himself. He sent me a picture but I forgot to ask him the name/brand of the casing he had. Can anyone please tell me what casing it is and maybe recommend me similar/better casings?

Looks similar to a SuperMicro case.

Thats such overkill. Why's he runningn all those fans if he's got a water cooling setup? I can one or two but the 3 in front, one in back and who knows how many on the other side....I just don't see the point. I used to have a large server tower and I just got sick of it since I never used all the bays or any of the space it provided. I have a mid-tower now and it's big enough for a water cooling, so I see no reason (personally) to get anything bigger.

It's all personal preferece though.

I agree with Busby. That's some type of portable server-type case. Typically these are pretty expsensive (~$200 is average from the rack mounts I've bought).

Its just a double wide. i once was going to mod one to make it RC so that going to lans you can "drive" it to your spot, but the person i was doing it for never had any money so i never did it.
