No, believe me this is a memory problem. Just for reference, anytime you are seeing BSODs that are inconsistent in where they say the problem is, I would bet money everytime that its a memory problem. The fact that your memeory failed the mem test is further proof of that.

I was having the same issues for a while some time ago. Finally the problems went away when I pulled a sick memory stick. You need to find some good memory that works.

I would lean toward a memory problem as well. Twice I have had machines doing the "reboot whenever they want" thing and both times it turned out to be a bad stick of memory.

and after it done loading

i get this weard text and it keep repeating

he said he WASN'T having any more BSOD's ............... random reboots now. What brand of PSU you using Voodoo? Check in bios or using MBM and see if all the voltage readings are decent, +12V, +5V and +3V.

Sethpa I have seen bad sticks of ram cause both BSOD and reboots. You are right it could be a power supply issue as well but being that he cant get it to pass the memory test I tend to lean in that direction

i cant get mbm to run it saids "Privileged instruction"

and the psu is a antec ture 430 watts

and the memory is 2700 at 2.6 vts

voodoo, try raising VDIMM (mem voltage). go to 2.7 or 2.8

Check the 5v and 12v numbers on your powersupply. It should be within 5% of 5 and 12 respectively

hell, even try a different powersupply
