Okay, so I need some help finding some really budget parts for someone who doesn't really game but needs a decent pc.
Right now I have chosen a GeForce FX 5200 64MB for the budget vidcard since this person won't do any gaming much at all...I don't think you can beat this card, but tell me if you know of one.
So at the top of my treasure hunting list is a good but cheap printer. I think I can reuse their old 56k modem. Some ppl have suggested I make it a mini pc...but I am worried how much that would increase the price as I am building the entire system. And if you have any ideas of a good mobo, shoot. And I think that the Athlon 1700 is the best bet cpu for this one.....any comments?
This pc is basically just for typing, word processing, surfing the net, and emails and such. And maybe a few ancient kiddie games.

Onboard vid and sound. Add $140 for decent monitor. Add 95 for winxp home. you can search for the exact phrase that i put here and come up with the item. Newegg may be a little more expensive. But you can have all the parts to you door in like 3 days (at least to here in MA)
