If anyone's looking for Winbond BH-5 mem..

Post by VidmanII »

zipzoomfly has Kingston HyperX PC3200. Model # is KHX3200K2/256/512/1Gb

Make SURE that's the model number you order and you'll get Winbond BH-5 chips on it. Do NOT get the model # with an "A" in it. Here's the linx to the right stuff. Kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. Keep in mind that Winbond doesn't make these chips anymore so when they're gone.......well, you get the picture.

This stuff will take up 3.3v at 250 FSB no problem provided you have good case cooling. That ain't chop meat!!

can't really tell without the entire model # but if it's got an "A" in there, it's not BH-5 chips.

I'm using the 3700 stuff, and I haven't had any problems with it.

Another good idea is to run a search on ebay for Winbond BH-5. Seems there's always some for sale on there.
