motherboard monitor under XP

Post by wvjohn »

uograded from win2k to xp, swapped mobos (8rda+ to 8rda3g) now i can't get motherboard monitor to work - getting the privileged error message

mbm needs a service running in order to get info - i've followed the mbm directions and read some of the faqs on the mbm sit ebut still no go

tried to install under all three options regular, boot and system -

any equivalent programs out there that don't have a problemo with XP

TIA

If you swapped mobos then you have to re-install MBM.

The version I'm using ( 5.3.5.0 ) allows me to select my mobo manufacturer and model (DFI > LANparty > all versions ) during the initial install. Is that the version you're using and is your mfgr and model present in the selections they provide? I just clik thru everything and select "let me handle it" on any options it provides along the way. Basically a default setup once you specify your mobo.
