Question about Z-640s

Post by dadx2mj »

OK I picked my Logitech Z-640s up about a month or so ago and really like them. The otter day I bought a cheap set of headphones to try out for playing games. When I plug them into the jack on the Z-640s they work fine but I can not control the volume on them with the speaker volume control on the 640's. Is that normal or is something wrong with my 640's

Well if your using them on the PC could just use the software controll :)
Thats what I do almost all the time anyway. I don't use head phones much, but for controlling volume level on any pc speakers I normally use either the programs volume controll or the mixers.

Or if you have one of those fancy multie-media keyboards use the volume adjustment keys on that. I have like 3 of those keyboards, and I never installed the software for any of them yet. 21 various purple buttons including mute, volume up and down, forward back, phone , email, dos, www, x"fer,

It looks nice anyway and was less expensive than a standard key board at the time, got them on sale :D

Me has the z560's and the headphone jack does work with the volume control on the box :) However, I am much more prone to the volume control on my logitech keyboard... much easier to hit between spawn times in UT 2k4.
