SATA Enclosure problems

Does anyone on PCA currently use a HighPoint Rocket Mate 1000 external SATA encosure with a Rocket 1511 PCI controller card ?

I have the above mentioned POS and I cannot get it to recognize any drives that I use in it. I'm thinking that the enclosure PCB or the SATA cable has gone belly up. I am in no way accusing the seller of sending me faulty goods. I bought this way back in November 2003. Therefore he is not responsible for this POS not working. I had it working one time on an old Slot A machine. Since then I have not been able to make it work. If anyone has this item and it is currently working, I would like to send them the cable and enclosure to test on their PCI card.

Never mind. HighPoint doesn't seem to care that their product sucks. So I am sending it back to them. It will give me more pleasure to ship it back to them and wanting nothing in return.
