Yah, I got that too.. There's actually something from over a year ago in the sizzlin' deals forum for a "free cupholder".. It's pretty easy, I think, to make the CD eject from a webpage. But it didn't eject mine, but I got the "uh oh!". Not that I'm worried about it.

no cd rom opened for me :)

but once on that page, that other pop up opened and played the ICQ wave (wasnt activated though ICQ, it was saved off site somewhere else)

still lookin through the scripts and source to see what they used to open the cd rom, i really want to know how that was accomplished

Augix: Autorun is different than opening the CD. Autorun starts a program or a file when the CD is inserted.

i think this is the one :

Code: Select all

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="VBScript">
<!--

Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7" )
Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection

if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
        For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
                colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
        Next ' cdrom
End If

-->
</SCRIPT>
