XP Error

Hey I formated my friends drive and now im trying to install windows xp on it but when i put the cd in it boots up but dosent come to the cd or anything it comes to a black screen that says "ntldr is missing press ctrl + alt + del to restart" what do i do? how do i install xp?

Try the boot floppies from http://www.bootdisk.com , you'll need four blank floppy disks.

What are the specs of the comp ?

specs are an old pentium 3 733 mhz, 256 ram

should run.. i had xp on the same with only 128 megs... ran fine.

Is it set to boot from the CD in the bios?

its an old bios and i cant find where the boot settings are

That error can also mean there's a non-bootable floppy in the floppy drive.

Otherwise you need to find the boot order in the BIOS and make the CD the first boot drive.
