It's meant for servers, really, and network deployment. It works fine, but it's the corporate version of NAV and at it's heart it's the same engine. Maybe a bit more stability since it's designed for servers and meant to be updated without reboots.
I think McAfee Enterprise Edition is a better product. Less memory footprint and performance hit.

well I tought I found the solution to my "very slow compi" problem in this post. So I uninstalled NAV04 and yes it was a little better but still not where it should be. Then I found an other post ---> http://www.nocrash.com/ncbbs/msgs/3550.shtml
I reinstalled NAV04 and didnt notice a difference, then I uninstalled Real1Player.
and now my compi is back to normal. It doesnt take over a minute anymore to open a Word docment.
I'm happy again and still protectet by NAV 2004 (hopefully)
So if you guys still experience slow downs after removing NAV try removing Real One Player.
