we were already divorced when all of this came about. I made sure it was put in the parenting plan just for when that day came along she got a wild hair to move like she always does.

no, I was talking about the oregon thing, that is where my X wanted to move as well. Just kinda odd that your x wanted to go there as well

Hey All,

I’m DoPeY’s girlfriend of the past 2 ½ years, and I cannot thank you all enough for what you are doing to help us!

This means the world to not only him, but me as well. I love his kids very much and I just want the best, stable, loving environment possible.

Those that are loaning money, you are angels, I am helping him as much as I can, but with car payments and school stuff - It gets hard.

Those that are lending support, you are also angels! By just knowing that you are thinking about the situation and hoping that things work out for the best is wonderful!

And don’t worry; he will be sure to update you all as soon as something happens

Well, we were in court this AM ( something I started like 8 months ago ) to get the child support lowered, she started working a year ago, so I knew it would go down. And with my mom being the day care and me giving her some $ to help, it got cut in half

I knew she was pissed but I know after the 31st she will try to change it agin because of her move.

But I see my lawyer agin friday

What gets me as well as all this!!!??? After all is said and done, the only one who "makes out" are the lawers. I cant even imagine the thought process of a lawer to come up with "you get the kids on Holidays on even years"... I would never even think of something like that to put down on paper....

when that was written, it was a court mediator, no lawyers.

So they prolly throw the same thing to most couples

whoa!! well i just caught this thread and that's something i'm sure anyone of us wouldn't want to go through.

anyway it seems that you are covered on your initial "financial" problem so that's great. well there's not much i can offer now except that I'll definitely be praying for ya and hope all turns out well.

bah, so I called the police department I field the report @ on monday today to get a DR# so I can order a copy of the report. I get the # then call the automated system I need to in order to get the copy, get all the info, tell me to send a check for $23 and all that, then it says it will take about 12 weeks. Man I want it sooner, but it says there is no other way

o-well, I guess I shall wait
