WTB: HUGE ATX Case (at least 11 bays - 7+ 5.25 & 4+ 3.5)

Post by lilxjohnny »

I am looking to build a HUGE fileserver. Currently, I have 11 hard drives totalling over 1 TB of capable storage. I also have a 600 watt PSU to power these puppies, but will need another to power just the system itself (400 watt ATX for system and tons of Fans) The case must meet the following criteria:

1. Must have at least 7 5.25" bays to hold hard drive removeable mobile racks, cdrom, and cdrw
2. Must have at least 4 3.5" bays to hold additional hard drives
3. Must be able to hold 2 ATX PSUs (Note: Can be designed for 1 PSU, but modd-able with room for a 2nd)
4. Must be designed to adequately cool these devices.
5. Needs to be ATX
6. Must come with everything. If the case uses rails, it must have all the parts to use every single bay as I will be using every single one.
7. Local area only (Tri-state: NY [preferred], NJ, CT), however if you don't mind shipping, the cost must include shipping.
8. MUST BE CHEAP.

Here are some that I'm looking at to give you an idea of what I'm looking for:
1. [L=Cube Server Case - YY-0221 Mini Server Case]http://yycase.com/products/yy0221.htm[/L] , [L=Review of Case]http://www.procooling.com/reviews/html/ ... review.php[/L]
2. [L=Chieftec Dragon]http://store.yahoo.com/directron/da01sld.html[/L] : Please look at the pics at that link
3. [L=Codegen S-201 Case Review]http://home.insightbb.com/~chaotic42/case1.html[/L]
4. [L=Ideally I want this: Enermax FS2000BB]http://store.yahoo.com/directron/fs2000bb.html[/L], but discontinued and sold out
5. [L=Codegen S-101 ATX Server Case]http://store.yahoo.com/dealsonic/cods1atxserc.html[/L]

If there is any other cases I should consider, LMK.

I'll consider the PC71 however, I would prefer anyone of those options I mentioned and I'll see in a few days what my options are.

Thanks for replying ..

Thanks, but I don't need anything that flashy, its just going to be a fileserver :) That case looks exactly like the case I had, I think it has 6 5.25 bays and I think 5 3.5" bays.
