and I cant get it all realigned perfectly now. this sucks.

LCD screens were designed just for you. Press AUTO and it's done....

Me? I LIKE playing with my adjustments, but I'm stange that way :)

na...It took me like 3-4 weeks to get it perfect the first time...5 years ago. :) so i will just putz with it.

Its my only CRT left. everything else here is flat.

:) im kinda like you. I need to make sure my monitor settings are perfect. it may seem tacky but i put a small piece of tape over the reset button. i've learned my lesson especially with a 2 yr old running around the house.

Lcd are ok with the auto button , but CRT must require more dedication , When I had my CRT I used to take note of my configuration .

It seems like every time I sit down at someone else's rig the first thing I have to do is tweak thier monitor if it's a CRT.
On that note, I think one of my screens here at the office needs adjusting. I'm not insanely picky, but I do insist on them being "pretty good". I'm amazed how few people actually touch anything other than the size and position adjustments. pincusion, bin balance, trapezoid, tilt, and rotation are all so important. Then of course no one's ever even heard of moire...
