12 Monkeys and Brazil are both Terry Gilliam films. While they may be bizarre they both have incredibly profound statements covering society, politics, humanity, economics, crime, etc...

for weird, i think Bloodsucking Freaks wins. don't watch it, its just not very healthy for sane people. its very extremely sick (i know some of you will check into it just because of this, hehe).

Anything directed by Terry Gilliam. Didn't he do Time Bandits also? That was ok, just plain weird though. Brazil is probably the weirdest though.

Leaving Las Vegas, now that was strange. Cage drinks himself to death. And I could never get into 12 Monkeys either. I am a big Bruce Willis fan but I hated that movie and his acting in it. As I did another recent one from him that was also very weird, Unbreakable.

Hmm...ive seen some weird-ass foreign films, one that comes to mind is The Naked Lunch, and some strange but funny Japanese film about an Assassin tournament.. oh there was also a Japanese film about some Japanese people coming to Memphis to look for Elvis..hehe.

Delicatessen, and The City of Lost Children, by the same guys...........very good, but weird.

The Woman in the Dunes was weird too.

For some reason most people either love 12 Monkeys or hate it. There's no in between. I like Willis but I still hate that movie. I admit I can't stand brad pitt, so that doesn't help. Does he ever not act like a whacko? :lol

What about The Wall, now that is weird. People say that you have to be high to understand it--please.
