question on dvd-r media

Just bought me a lite-on dvd burner(couldn't resist the price:80.00 after rebates @ BB.

Anyhow..I was wondering if anyone has used any memorex dvd-r media in this particular burner?I bought a 50 pak of the media @ BB for 50.00 after instant rebate.From what reviews I've read on the burner it will burn just about any media.Is memorex a decent brand?

Should be okay. Stick to name brands. Avoid non-name or generics.

not gonna get to try the burner tonight..got a lemon

just sets their and flashes the yellow busy light. SOB

Its recgonized in the bios & device manager as a liteon ldw-411....from what little i've read it's toast...firmware upgrade does no good.

Liteon's 24 hr tech support SUCKS BTW.

I've had the phone to my ear for 45 minutes...still no answer..WTF

Don't know why you even called. CD-R s are plug and play. It don't work take it back to BB.

I know..it just pissed me off...Sent a nice little email to their stinkin 24 hr suck support.
It'll go back to BB tomorrow.
