PCA storage champ?

Post by VidmanII »

In light of all big cases and sick pc nutz around here, I'm wondering who the PCA storage champ is. I've got 270GB's total (120,120,30GB's) but I know in about 4 posts here I'll prolly be shot down.

Criteria: Have to be internal and all in the same case. No foofy HDD enclosures or file server capacity allowed. :D

So lets here it and feel free to post what kind, how big, SCSI, SATA, IDE what ??? :cool :

in one rig or around the room?

main rig's got 2x 120g seagate serial raided, and a 200g external external counts cause its just a backup for this rig. So It counts. I dont care about your rules.

160gb and a 120gb, total of 280. Way more than I use. Have an 80gb in an external enclosure for backups and transferring things.
So It counts. I dont care about your rules.
:P

320GB total. 2x160GB Maxtors in RAID0. What's sad is I have used all but about 90GB of the space. 195GB out of 268GB on one drive. That's my movies and downloads and programs and such.

I have thought about adding an additional 2 160GB drives to make for a total of 640GB but if I were to do that I'd step up and go RAID5 with like 6 drives and work my ways towards my ultimate goal of 6 250GB drives in a RAID5 setup for a total of 1TB of space.

My fileserver has 4 x 120G's RAID 5 @ 360G + 60G OS + 2 X 200G = 820G

Plan to add 2 more 200G's and create a RAID 5 array of the 4 200's.... :D
