Xbox Mod Chip

Post by demonmonkey1234 »

I remember reading a post a little bit ago about Xbox mods and I was looking for the post but I'm not gonna sift through 300000000000000 posts to find it. If any1 knows the post I'm refering to, where everyone was discussing the type of mod chip they had and all that but I'm looking for the one that talks about having an ON/OFF switch for Xbox live. I remember a really good site was posted as a link in the message but I didn't save the link or anything of the post because I don't have an Xbox I'm looking it up to see about doing it for a friend. Also if any1 can provide a site with good instructions or post them here I'd greatly appreciate it. I basically just remember that one guy inperticular had that On Off one and that's the one I'm looking for off an actually decent site.

Well all that info is great but it leads me to my next question which is how easy is this to do? I mean it looks pretty simple and I can tear down and reassemble a computer in no problem so it shouldn't be hard right??? What about adding a 120Gb HD, how does that work out with the Xbox? Does the Xbox just read it as a brand new Xbox with nothing on it or what?
