Help !!!!

Post by NOL1M1TMAN »

I have a MSI K7N2 ILSR mobo with a 1700+ AMD Trbed B, 2 x 256 pc2700 kingston ram, 60 gb hard drive , gforce4 ti4200, I was in the bios trying to get my OC stable, I rebooted and I can't get no video signal and its not making beeping sounds like its posting either. I Cleared the CMOS 10-15 times even went as far as to remove the cmos battery for 30 mins no luck.

Any help would be appreciated ... I have a 400 watt turbolink psu btw.

First check the basics, psu switch and plug plus the case/mb power connector wire and mb/psu connection then reseat your video card, memory(drop to one stick if you have more) and remove and replace the cpu/hs.

These problems are frustrating so best to go away, relax and get some sleep and then come back fresh and start over.

Unplug the PSU plug to the mobo, then reconnect. Sometimes this will reset the mobo.

Check your manual - sometimes there's a key combination you use during bootup the forces the mobo back to it's safe default settings.
