NO SHIT SHERLOCK! This guy's so clueless he thinks that a change in the FRIGGING MANUAL is going to get rid of the negative publicity."I know this feature might be misunderstood and might PO some people. I know the manual could do a better job explaining it. These are all things that we at Belkin are working to remedy."
Let the backlash begin. Hope Belkin isn't publicly traded because if it is, it's stock is about to plummet.
I personally will NEVER buy another Belkin product if I can help it.

Okay the problem occurs in the router's firmware. At some point the router pops up with an offer for a six month trial of software that lets parents configure the router to restrict internet access. It asks the consumers to either activate the free trial or click "no thanks". If they click "no thanks" it goes away and stays away. May tho don't and instead click the close window X. In that case the pop up keeps coming back. But Belkin has offered firmware updates for this problem.
