the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

just what the hell is it used for? and cooling somting like that would have to be done with heat pipes.

im still intreastead as hell as to how they cool somting like that.

SPARC CPU's run cool....this isn't some AMD heat kamikaze ready to burn itself up at any moment :p . Probably just a custom heatsink with indents for each chip and some 120mm fan or something along those lines.
Headphones are the answer to all insane air cooled systems. :)

No, it'll be worse. The .13 micron dual-core POWER4 at 1.3 GHz disspates a max of 135 watts, which is double the fastest AMD chip out there. Consider that this module has four dual-core POWER chips (8 CPUs total) on it :eek: it's going to need a hell of a lot more than a heatsink and fan to keep cool.

I would no doubt liquid cooling. Super computer have used liquid cooling for at least 20 years. I still have one if the original aluminum Orbs modded to fit a P3 Slot. That thing is at least ten years old!
