The 8RDA3+ offers better Barton support over the 8RDA+. The XP2400+ was sold two days ago.

I only found info on the 8RDA+ that said it could go up to a Barton XP2800+. In actuality , the 8RDA+ is a 100/133 board and the 8RDA3+ is a i11/133/166 board.

After furthur research I have found that the 8RDA+ will support all 333 Bartons but not the 400 Bartons.
I did like my 8RDA+ and the 8RDA3+ feels a little better.
Finding the right words is tough sometimes. Basically, if you run the 8RDA+ at 166, then you are O/Cing it. The 8RDA3+ at 166 is not O/C'd. Does that make sense or should I shut up before I insert feet in mouth ? ?
P.S. I think new newest revision of the 8RDA+ has 100/133/166 selection in the bios and by way of an onboard jumper.

My 8RDA+ says (on the box) ULTRA 400..... So what does that mean? That it's Barton 400FSB ready? heh..

My 8RDA+ rev 1.1 only says nForce 2, the 8RDA3+ says Ultra 400. You must have gotten an 8RDA+ rev 2.x.
