The Core

Post by EvilHorace »

I liked the movie BUT the nose on that computer hacker kid can't be for real can it?

i saw the hacker dude in Road Trip originally...freaky looking guy! hehe

The Core was good for what it's worth...but i found it super predictable (ok, time for another person to die, etc). good special FX though. :)

I thought the movie was OK, but they should have spent a little more time on what exactly caused the magnetic field to stop. Good special effects, but the storyline needed some help, since every plot point, every character and every death is completly predictible from the opening of the movie.

True, the events were all too predicatable and the idea of how they stopped the internal flow did need better explanation, no doubt. It was entertaining though even though its plot pretty much copied Armegeddon.

I saw it when it came out and again recently and I still liked it. Corny and hokey perhaps, but fun.

For a "popcorn flick" it was OK, but it was so far fetched in parts that it insults your intelligence...

It was just OK. Glad I didn't pay to watch it.
