Expecting ram to drop soon!

Post by canton_kid »

If we follow the pattern, shouldn't ram drop before the first of the year, then most likely climb again afterwards? I beleave this would have alot to do with last Quarter profits and Invententory taxes :)

Also with holiday sales.

Is this gonna be a good time soon to start stocking up on Ram and other items? What's ahead for next year? With the 64bit AMB out now, should we be expecting to see drastic drops in other hardware prices soon? I'm sure when the New AMD 64 starts dropping some, then so will other items.

I wouldn't count on it. RAM is cheap - they're barely making a profit on it now.

Perhaps their not making much profit, but they should be at $85 and up for one stick!

When figured by size, weight, number of componants or anything else it is the most expensive NEEDED part of a computer!

I mean you have to have ram, but you can get built in video :)

But if it's likly to stay about the same, well I geuss I'll get drives and such for now.
Thought if it looked like dropping prices in the near future I would save and stock up :)
