Old School LED Panels..

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

Ok.. You guys remember the LED panels that used to be in computers to display your mhz right? Well, I've got one, and I was wondering if anybody could think of anything cool I could use it for? I had originally thought to ue it to display the mhz of one of my newer machines, but we know that won't work, as the first digit on this thing is a 1... heh.. Any ideas? Does anybody know how to set these up? There are a shit load of jumpers on it, as well as it being hooked to the mobo.. TIA eGo

I always hooked it up to the mobo and played with the jumpers until I got the right display. Not much you can do with it....back before we crossed 1GHz, people would rice their computers and put that display up to 500MHz when they were really running a 300a Celeron or some shit :p
