System Restore after removing the worm

Post by NascarFool »

You have to disable system restore in order to remove the worm. Can the saved system restore file(s) be simply deleted befor restarting System Restore ?

Restore points get deleted when you disabled system restore. At least thats my take on it.

Whenever you're infected by a virus you MUST disable system restore then turn it back on. That deletes all the restore points and creates a new one for that day.

Many thanks. I made "brownie points" at work and they didn't have to call in the comp tech. :)
