1 21" and 2 19" CRTs on my main rig.
Then there's a 14" LCD built into my lan rig.
The rest of my machines just borrow a monitor off my main rig if I need to plug them in.

Spindle collector. FC-AL 9x18x10k; SCSI 3x36x15k, 1x18x10k, 1x73x10k, 1x9x10k, 1x18x7.2k; IDE 1x120x7.2k, 1x40x5.4k, 1x9x7.2k, 1x6.4x?, 1x2.5x?
What kind of gaming? I had a dual monitor setup on one of my older rigs with a 17" and a 15"... I tried to do the same thing so I could game on one monitor and talk on the other but windows did NOT like that at all. While gaming the 17" would show the game and the other one would be all weird lines, then when I tried to switch over to talk the game would go black and 95% of the time crash all together. I tried for almost 2 years but could never get games like CS, or QUake3 to work well on the setup.

KDS 17" extreme flats. X3
$119 plus tax at walmart. Fast, cheap, and easy to get my hands on here in the boonies! Got 3, oldest is about 2 years I think and working great still.
Local computer shop still selling them for almost $300 last I looked
And suckers are still buying them there when they could get the exact same ones 10 miles down the road at Wallyworld!! SHOP people SHOP!
I thought about geting a bigger one, but don't need it! Looked at the specs, even in sleep mode the 19" ate too much power! I think it was like 80watts turned off! I don't need the extra heat in the house in the summer!
Need a bigger monitor?

I'm gonna try a TV.
Never have yet.
I bought Scooby a 20" Sanyo Flat screen Tv for her birthday. This thing is so crisp and clear, DVDs like Lord of the Rings are nearly 3d. Like looking into those old View Master 3d viewers. Looks like you could reach into the TV for depth. You feel like you could actually pick the leaves off the trees with the picture this tv has.
