laptop screen used on pc?

is it posible to some how use the screen from a loptop on a pc iv got a laptop that had a dead hard drive and i replaced it but the cd drive is broken and i was wondering if some how i could suse the screen as a moniter for a pc like make a brefcase computer case and just have the screen inside of it or bult in to the top if any one can help please let me know

I won't say that it is impossible but I say it's hardly worth the effort and it won't be cheap.

my laptops have VGA inputs :)

ya mine does to but i wanted to use desktop components and conect the laptop screen to a video card or what ever it would be but i gess i will jsut fix the damn loptop since it will be cheeper

Huh, inputs ... I only know VGA outputs for Laptops, never seen a VGA input. Lemme know what make/model/homepage so I can check it out.
