Putting some memmory in the slots on an old SoundBlaster sound card do? I have two sticks of memmory I found in an old PC here on a similar card, and was curious what that stuff is good for? Any help is appreciated.. eGo

As far as I'm aware, that just gives you some memory space to download sound fonts which are used by the Midi synthesizer. Nothing that will matter to the average person.

Well, I probably won't wast my time with it then.. I thought maybe it would speed up the transfer between the IDE controller on the card (yeah, I'm using it).. Thanx for the info.. eGo
