<---- Not a jew, but I do agree with several opinions expressed here the past two days.. Everyone has a right to their own religion, no matter what it be. That's what freedom is about, something we here in the USA are very proud of. So I don't knock anybody's religion. I don't neccessarily (sp?) agree with it, but I have no right to say it's a horrible religion just because I don't like it. That's not my choice to make. If I don't like it, I just don't listen to it. That's just me.. eGo

It is as much a mistake to believe that all who practice islam are murderous extremists as it is to conclude that all members of PCA are ignorant bigots.

Lets see what we can teach Saraja about America:

1. America is a land of intolerant people ruled by their fears of what they don't understand. Because they were attacked by arab extremists who commit murder while falsely claiming to do so in the name of islam, they hate all arabs and all those who practice islam.

2. America is a land where people are free to practice whatever religion they please. Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism - It doesn't matter. We recognize that people are different. Having so many different people come to our country seeking freedom and prosperity has made us the envy of the world. what is all this stuff about hatred of the muslims? Seriously, I'm surprised. Not all muslims are fundamentalist. shi'ite muslims, sure...they take what i would consider to be a radical viewpoint on what I also consider to be a pretty tolerant religion.

The muslims did a lot for the growth of the world as we know it today. FP did a fantastic job, summing up in only a few sentences how the muslims, at least in part, gave way to the European Renaissance. Also they made many notable accomplishments during the mid 1600's-1700's with cultures like the Safavid and Mughul empires.

Don't bang on the religion unless you know the history behind it. I mean, it's Catholicism that should be blamed (for a large part) of slavery throughout the world. At least during the age of exploration up to the late 1800's. Do a little reading on the slavery that took place in South America. To me, it seems that the Cathlic Church has been just as oppressive as the Muslim Religion.

No religion preaches hatred. It's only radicals who take a warped interpretation on the origional work. Muhammid was actually religiously tolerant during his rule, calling Cathlics, Christians and Jews "people of the book". According to him, Jesus was a prophet, he just wasn't able to get the message in it's entirety.

Seriously though, do a little reading about Akbar (the ruler during the golden age of the Mughal Empire), he was QUITE religiously tolerant.

I know this post is sort of spotty, but...just do some research before you start banging another religion. A lot of these atrocites that people are mentioning are being commited by FUNDAMENTALISTS, not just Mulslims as a whole.

Really, before anyone flames me, or starts to go on ranting about what a horrible religion Islam is, do a little reading up on the history.

Frankly i could give a fuck less about any religion... but this is what i see the most... Terrorist = Islamic extremists... Look at all the hate Israel is getting from Palastine... Its been that way for many many years and it will never stop. No one in that region likes Israel. I guess all palastinians must be extremists then cause u always see the blocks full of assholes protesting and brandishing weapons... What gets me is they aren't fucking smart enough to stop their shit and i'm sure Israel would stop blowing them to fuck as well. I mean c'mon how fucking stupid can a group of people be...

I don't outbid on Islam .Islam a brilliant religion by itself and doesn't need me or any preaching or missionary work. i wrote in this community not to convenes people to be converted to Islam because this is completely their choice , i have participated to correct the picture and reputation which have been intentionally ravaged by west media.
