Hi all, I was trying to burn two small Children's programs on one cd.
First one worked I started it as a multisession disk(300 megs) Then I added the second one as a burned image file.
But when I added the second proggy (only 160 megs) the cdrom in our old puter and even this one only finds or recognizes only the second program or session.
Is there a fix around this? Now I lost the first game altogether.
Is it because I gave them both their original volume names?
thanks for any info
I don't like to waste too many cd's for my 3 year old to wreck so I try to put her games on one disk.
I know it's a bit confusing.

From Nero Help:
However, Nero says it has a solution to this:

I was just confirming what I remembered reading awhile back. You can only read the last session of the cd.If your CD Recorder supports multisession, you can only read the last session of your CD on Windows 95/98and NT 4.0 and the first session on Windows 3.1x.
Nero gives you the solution: in Windows 95/98and NT 4.0, you can use the Nero Multi Mounter to switch to any other session of your Multisession CD.
Please see also Nero Multi Mounter
However, Nero says it has a solution to this:
Not sure if that helps you though. If you need any more help, just askThe Nero Multi Mounter, available for Win 95/98and Win NT4.0, allows you to view ALL the sessions and to access ALL the files recorded on your Multisession CD!
The Nero Multi Mounter is automatically installed with the installation of Nero.
How to use the Nero Multi Mounter?
1. Insert your Multisession CD into your CD-ROM drive or your recorder.
2. Go to the Explorer and select the drive in which you put the CD.
3. Select properties either through the menu File/properties or by using the right mouse button. Then you will see two or more property sheets one of which is the volumes sheet.
4. Select the volumes property sheet. You can see now all the sessions listed that have been burned onto the CD.
5. Click on the session you want to be displayed, then return to the Explorer. You can see now the contents of the selected session and select a file.

I tried that Golar but it didn't work it just said "session cannot be mounted " or something like that.
damn weird tech terms they use.
Thanks anyway guys ...no biggie just another coaster for the kids to use as a frisbee.
My burner works great it's either the user (me) who is an idiot or windoze who is an idiot.
I am getting a new computer soon so the kids will be getting a new cd rom as well.Maybe it will read the disks better.
thanks to all who replied

I guess, your original plan was to create a multivolume CD, but only Macs support this as far as I know. For multisession you have to create a first session on new CD and close it, but leave the disc open, then open when you want to add next session, instead of new you select Continue Multisession, uncheck Delete/Remove files, leave Add files checked, Open (I don't remember for sure, I am at work), click on first sssion, OK. It wil load TOC for whatever was recorded in first session, then you drag and drop whatever you want to add (second game), in Burn dialog window make sure to check Finalize CD, so it can be read in regular CD-ROM. This way after second recording TOC will be overwritten to include files from both sessions. But it will still be single volume, to see both games as separate
disks you would need a Mac
