varies...but normally in the 50-100 range. no need to carry more than that much cash around...why risk losing it? that's what credit cards/check cards, etc are for. i kinda find it tacky when i see people flashing wads of cash...like it's supposed to impress people. i charge EVERYTHING i possibly can. i get a good % cash back from my credit union each year and can make one convenient payment online each month.

Usually $100 - $300 . I seem to make a lot of small purchases .

Never used to carry any, but nowadays with the bank charges...I try to keep about $100 and it usually lasts me weeks, I'm the miser in the family. If the hubby knew I always had cash, I'd never have cash.
