No use for cash when ya got plastic. Still keep about $10 or so on me for those times you need cash (not many fast-food places take plastic--atleast McDonalds doesn't! :)

i typically carry my money in one of my front pockets and reserve my wallet for credit cards, busines cards, and receipts. i do always keep some emergency money tucked away in it though.

I try to use the check card as much as possible as cash flows outwards too easily and sometimes one needs to use cash. What still bothers me about using a check card is that there are a few rare times when it doesn't always work even though the money's there. I'll then later ask the bank what went wrong and hear "computers were down that day" or "bad weather" or "the new girl put a 3 day hold on your paycheck" :(
At least I now have another back-up card just in case.

I have a rule, I always have no more than $60 in my money clip, and an emergency $20 in my wallet.

I charge nothing unless it's mail order or an emergency. I pay check for big ticket items, groceries, etc.

Nothing says "bling bling" like when you smack that cash down on tha countertop ;)

Then again, a lot of cashiers have more work to do when you pay cash, so they like plastic better :)

like almost everyone else, at least $20 in my wallet (mainly for lunch, parking, etc). if i have more than that i tend to spend it faster.

you guys should see how "scratched up" my atm/debit card is :) i think i need to order a new one.
