Looking to buy computer case

Post by Tech1 »

Well, i already have a pre-moded case, now for the next computer i'm going to build, i want to mod the case. What i want to do is: Install a side window, install a top fan / grill, install front usb, paint the case, install round wires/lights, and a few other things that come my way.

Now i'm looking for a cheap case to buy, plain and un-modded with these specs:

No PSU Necessary
ATX size
Mid-tower
3 CD-ROM bays
2 Hard drive Bays
1 Floppy bay
Simple case
It needs a pretty flat front.

But this is all i found so far:

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.a ... 11-150-027 (My top choice, even comes with a PSU)

http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=500SEL (Comes with a PSU, but i don't like the front of it, look hard to paint it)

Any other cases out there i should look for?

Check out directron.com and see what they have and watch newegg.com for specails. Some times they have a decent looking case for around $30 - $35 with free shipping.

Sometimes neweggs shipping kills a good deal, but other times free shipping.

Normally if I have to pay shipping at newegg for a case ($15 or so) I end up buying from directron.
They are closer to me and shipping prices are far better than neweggs, unless free shipping at newegg.

Specs ae pretty basic and with so many cases out there I don't really recomend anything particular. Just find what you like for the type mod you want to do an butcher that baby :)
