no. minimum card you would want now adays is an ati radeon 8500 or a nvidia gf4 4200.

Yeah what Greg said.

The Radeon 7000 is the same as the Radeon VE but no dual monitor.
While other Radeons had 2 pipelines, the Radeon 7000/VE had 1 pipeline. Also the Radeon VE doesn't have the T&L engine.

I've got the Retail RADEON 7000 64MB DDR version, it's an ok card but way to much for what it is (THough it is dual head). I sorta wish I would of gotten something else, but this is the fiance's PC anyway so it's no big deal really. It does overclock pretty well, stock mhz of 166 for this one and I have it running at 200 right now without any real cooling on it.

the 9000's is a decent low end choice right now as well. not much slower than the 8500's

Hey David, I bought this one, and I am VERY pleased with it! I love the TV out.. I use it like a Dual Monitor.. heh.. But check it out.. It's VERY reasonably priced, and it's played everything I've thrown at it so far with no problems. GL either way.. eGo

Radeon 9000 for $65

you can get a gf3 for about $50, and it will handle everything.
