Not bad. It is pure escapist entertainment and is similar in ways to Armageddon.

Had an awesome extended scene with a space shuttle and another with the golden gate bridge. Got a bit slow after that but still mindless fun.

That one gal they have in it (Hilary Swank) is the second most boring female actress I've seen. If she is always so stale she may take the boring throne from Téa Leoni soon. Tea is even better looking too.

I saw the movie for a laugh and I got one. I thought it was horrible

The trailer I saw said something along the lines of "this is the movie armageddon wanted to be!" Total slap in the face

Too bad it was quite possibly the worste "end of the world" movie I've ever seen

And I agree she is a very, very boring actress. ANd what the hell was that total rip-off of armageddon with the pulling straws bit? Good god

Sheesh, I just can't say ANYTHING that was good about it......except the golden-gate bridge collapsing, that was cool. But the lightening storm? NOBODY got electricuted!!! WHAT CRAP IS THAT?!

Oh you loved it and you know it.

I had no high hopes for it and mainly wanted to see the effects, so it wasn't a letdown for me.

I forget about that electric storm. But maybe they all had rubber boots on.
