CDROM I Swear I'm bout to take a hammer to it

Post by demonmonkey1234 »

This happened a couple months ago and then fixed itself now it's happening again. It won't read cds. At one point it wouldn't open or close and that green light just stayed on. I don't have a clue as to whats wrong. I've gone through all the checking cables and stuff. I know it was working yesterday cause I tried to install a game which is where the problem started again. So yea I quit installing it and all that. Now it just doesn't read them. I don't have a clue what to do any suggestions r welcome.

Try to RMA it and get a new drive from the manufacturer.
