SCSI help needed!!

Post by Buzz »

I just installed a Adaptec 2940UW in my system. That wwent well (no drives attached).

Now, i connected this to the controller:

ID 6: Plextor CDROM
ID 5: Plextor burner
ID 1: Zip 100

Controller: ID 7
Terminator on the end of the cable.

Now it works fine, ecept for if there are no disk in the Zip drive. If there is no Zip disk inserted, the machine will halt after SCSI screen. If i insert a disk, the Zip drive will start up and blink a few times and then the machine continues to boot.

WTF?? I didnt have this prob with the other SCSI controller :(

Anyone?
